Replacement Filters Instructions

NOTE:There is an inside and outside to these filters.
The surface of the material is slightly “smoother” on the inside. The seam with stitching is also on the inside.
The outside is “fuzzier” which helps catch and hold particles that are being removed from the spa water.

INSTALLING FILTERS ONTO SPA FILTER BASKET:

1. Make sure the bag filter is unfolded and has its “fuzzier side” out (as shipped and explained in the NOTE above).
Begin sliding the filter over the filter basket as shown in “Photo 1”.

2. Continue to slide the filter onto the basket until the bottom edge of the filter extends past the bottom of the basket by about ½ inch as shown in “Photo 2”.

3. Grasp the filter and basket by pushing the filter material over the top edge of the basket as shown in “Photo 3”. This helps keep the filter in the proper position on the basket while you perform “Step 4”.

4. While keeping your grip on the filter and basket, stuff the top of the filter into the basket with your other hand so that it now looks like “Photo 4”.

5. Place the rubber ring over the filter and basket to hold the filter in place as you would with the original filters. We recommend placing the ring near the bottom of the basket.

That’s it. You are now ready to install the filter and basket back into your spa.

WASHING AND CARE:

Filters should be washed and cared for per your original spa instruction manual. Do not put filters into your dryer. Let them air dry.

Cleaning Tips: Unfolding the filters before washing them will allow your washing machine to clean the filters more effectively. You may also find a pre-soak helpful in getting the filters as clean as possible.
